New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows: *Added functions to seek to the previous/next time signature changes, which are assigned the ALT+Pg Dn and ALT+Pg Up keyboard shortcuts, respectively. *Updated MIDI export of legacy and vocal tracks to use the manually given name (applied with Track>Rename) ...

Re: FoF Lyric Converter 2.40b (100% success rate)
I didn't know that some QRC files are encrypted. EOF cannot decrypt them. I'll ask the person who had me introduce QRC export to this lyric converter to see what's known about it.

New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows: *Fixed a bug where if the notes panel was open when the exit prompt is invoked, the panel would be closed. *Added a check used at the end of MIDI and GH import that gives the number of mid-measure time signature changes that are found and seeks to the first ...

Re: FoF Lyric Converter 2.40b (100% success rate)
That MIDI file's lyrics are very messy, but the syntax would be:
Code: Select all
foflc.exe -in kar example.mid -intrack Lyrics -out elrc example.lrc

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
The reason for that is that they're meant to be modifiers and not treated as lyric text (ie. they aren't displayed in-game in Rock Band). Since no such modifiers exist in text-only formats like script.txt, they get filtered out and then ended up being a lyric with no text, and that was a scenario th...

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Harmonix generally put at least one letter and then the freestyle modifier (ie. #). That beta build supports your chart though. This bug only occurred when exporting the script.txt (FoF formatted lyrics) and lyrics.txt (plain text lyrics) during save, since the Lyrics checkbox being enabled in Song ...

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
The issue turned out to be the lyrics that were just "#", since those are freestyle characters that are filtered out of script and plain text lyric exports. I added handling for that, here's a new beta with the fix:

That log indicates you're using the old 1.8RC12 release instead of any of the hotfix builds. If you can reliably cause a crash in the latest hotfix by opening a specific EOF project and immediately saving it, please send me that project file for testing.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Could be a computer issue. Sometimes people say that after a reboot of the OS EOF will behave differently. That said, is EVERY project crashing when you save, even new ones? Does merely opening an existing project and saving without making any changes cause a crash? The EOF log may or may not reveal...

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Did you apply that on top of the latest hotfix? The hotfix adds all updated files to the release candidate and the beta is just the latest executable. Otherwise let me know about the other questions I asked.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Crashes are pretty rare, can you reproduce it on demand? Does it happen with every project or just specific ones? Does it crash if you update to this beta version?

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
In theory, the game is supposed to only give you the points if it detects you hit the note lightly (ie. velocity sensitive drum kit, which I thought one of the GH drum kits is, but I don't know for sure). In practice, most rhythm games will probably just display it specially (or normally) and score ...

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up.
