Re: Fretting Songs
If I'm only planning on charting one PART for the song, and the parts are too repetitive/boring between verses (every verse the lead guitar plays the same boring part), then I'll switch it up between verses. If the lead plays something lame every chorus, but the rhythm is really going to town, I'll ...

Re: How could I get better at FoF(ix)?
Thread topics haven't changed at all, I see. I remember reading a tip on here awhile ago where somebody said to learn the common fretting patterns, and learn to play them the same way with the same fingers every time. For example, a pattern of o o o o o is pretty much identical in practice to a o o ...

Re: Purchasing Song Charts?
I'd like to chime in and say "a person's quality as a charter should not be based on reputation" is, quite frankly, blarney. The "reputation" principle applies to ANY service out there in the real world. "A good name is better than riches", and it can bring in the riche...

Re: Best FoF Mod... Opinions?
I love RF-Mod because it supported the version of FoF with the stage moving to the music. That was a great touch. I still have the animated "band mod" that somebody made on a flash drive somewhere, lol. FoFiX is awesome with all the compatibility and stuff, but it loses the nostalgia facto...

Re: Filehosters
Do you know how old those links are? Megaupload used to be a fairly popular filehost. =(
I remember there used to be some torrents for FoF, but the charts were generally reviled as being low-quality, so people were always discouraged from downloading them.

Re: Old single-instrument single-difficulty songs not workin
If I recall correctly, I think NewCreature once mentioned that EOF handles midi-timing/ticks/whatever in a unique way. I don't think he went into detail, though. I'm not sure if it's related to EOF's ability to do mid-track tempo changes, but I think it has something to do with the timing being cons...

Re: Old single-instrument single-difficulty songs not workin
Oh hey SketchMan, welcome back. Back on topic, have tried loading your MIDIs with the latest EOF? You might be able to do some modifications with it and export it to support the latest MIDI specifications. Thanks for the welcome :) Did EOF ever sort out that jumpy timing thing? That'd be my last re...

Old single-instrument single-difficulty songs not working
Hi, wow, it's been awhile. Just recently getting back into FoF, and I ran into a snag. I have some songs that I made with a midi editor, not using EOF or anything else like that. The notes.mid simply has a single track with only the notes in Expert mode. No events. No multiple PARTS, no other diffic...

Re: Mega Man Legends 3
It got cancelled because the 3DS is crap and everyone is jumping ship, believe me there's no lack of fan support. Haha, that's actually the first time I've heard that theory, and I'm in the Devroom. But "lack of support" and "not meeting requirements" was the reasoning that Capc...

Are you guys still strict about reviving old threads? So, Megaman Legends 3 got canceled due to "lack of support". So show your support by liking this page. http://www.facebook.com/GetMeOffTheMoon I just thought it wouldn't be right not to post this here, just in case there were any fans h...

Re: FIRST TV SPOT FOR FOF!
it's cool for FoF to be on the TV. Now if we could get some more legal songs, we'd be legit.
