Re: Error with Fofix

That screenshot looks to me like either the theme.ini is missing, or has been replaced. Did you copy that from the megalight theme as well by accident? Try re-downloading the theme and/or copying the theme.ini from the downloaded version into the rock band 2 folder. Also, But as far as I remember th...

Re: Theme Multiplier Problem

Damn. I suspected as much. That's a bug, but obviously one that hasn't been dealt with yet. *Looks* There's not even an issue on google code... Let's fix that... 1206 . Something stirred in the back of my memory about code for hit flame colors, so I had a peek at the theme.ini. Didn't find what I wa...

You'll want to change fret4_color. It should work, but I'm not 100% sure it fixes the hitglows. Let me know if it works.

Re: Theme Multiplier Problem

drumfretshacked is an old and outdated image, and you don't need it at all. If drumfrets.png is present it will use that. If not, it will try drumfretshacked.png, and if that's not there, it will just use fretbuttons.png. dumfretshacked uses exactly the same method as fretbuttons to render (i.e. ima...

Re: [WIP] FoFiX Theme for 4.0.0 - by the community

No one said we shouldn't use shaders, just not rely on them. Besides, the other factor is the way shaders are implemented in FoFiX. Sure, in theory they will become more flexible, but it still requires knowledge of how to write shaders. Knowledge that I, for one, do not possess. And I don't know ver...

Added to the FoFiX theme list.
And here's a ratings gadget so people can tell you how much they like / dislike the theme:

Re: Theme Multiplier Problem

Stupid idea that's worked once or twice for me, add a background layer of 1% transparent black (hopefully 1% won't be visible)

But I have a bad habit of forgetting my mental notes, so I made a mental note to write down all my mental notes. I should probably write them all down in one spot though...

All any of the APNG programs do is stitch images together. I pine for a program like the old Jasc Animation Shop 3, where you can see the timeline, edit frames, view real-time previews, etc... That was THE best thing for creating animated GIFs. Oh well, that's kinda off topic though. If only I didn'...

Re: Notification of reports

This is just a theory, but it might be that the posts you report get deleted, and that then in turn deletes the report instead of closing it properly and notifying you.
Mental note for future: close report, then delete post(s)

Re: [WIP] FoFiX Theme for 4.0.0 - by the community

APNGs would be good, but the effect of APNGs should be able to be emulated. ...that would allow you to string together image frames (like animated stages currently do)... I think apngs are better than making different images as you say. Apng is free, like png, and it wouldn't be too hard to impleme...
