For the record, I already use gamemaker, and I have no intention of stopping. I like what I make in gamemaker, and I'll keep doing it. I just wanted to know if people here were into stuff like that. Apelsinov, I'm sure you do have experience in (real) game programming, but there are other ways to ma...

Are there any people here who program their own games?
I use Game Maker. It's mostly good for 2d games, but some people have made some "nice" 3d ones as well. I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience in programming computer games.

Only a small percentage of us on here can even play guitar and an even smaller amount could play and fret a piece that anyone else would want to listen/play to. If you notice, I didn't once mention anyone actually playing a real isntrument at all. =P Get Sound Club and .mod, or get Acid Xpress and ...

I've actually been able to hammer-on some notes in FoF. I'm sure it has to do with the leniencey factor, but it's still cool. I just hold down the pick button and fret the 2 notes (that's about as many as you can hammer in 1 strum.) I discovered this when I noticed that I wasn't actually strumming e...

Thank you for this mod. I love the organization of the tapes. I like all the other stuff to (although most of the optimization features are useless for me, since it runs flawlessly regardless.) I recently edited some image files into a mod, and now the game runs slowly...I suppose I'll have to do so...

I'd like to see someone actually "make" an original FoF song using one's own creativity. Get Sound Club and .mod, or get Acid Xpress and mix, or get Anvil Studio and MIDI then record it to wave using a sound recorder program. It's alot easier to fret a song that you've written yourself, and it'll cr...

Get Anvil Studio. I believe the website is anvilstudio.com, but I'm not sure. It's a free MIDI editor. I use it to create my FoF songs. You simply change the "Score" interface to "Piano Roll" interface, and then enter the notes.

I was just curious, does anyone here besides me use custom keyboard controls for FoF? I immediately changed the fret keys to the number keys to make reaching the 5th fret easier upon installing the game. I used to use the enter key with the older version, then I got the latest version and tried usin...

In solution to the problem(although it's been discussed already) simply get a pc control pad or a ps2 usb adapter and set the keys to that instead. But, yeah, it would be very weak to play with a control pad. Although I've actually found a way for the control pad to emulate a guitar controller. I've...

I hold my keyboard Ukulele style, supporting it against my torso with my right fore-arm(although i occasionally hold my Uke against my hip and balance it on my belt if I need more power.) And since the top of my keyboard is huge, and I use the number keys instead of the function keys, It'd be a bit ...

IfThis would only work with the GHII tracks. They are the only ones which have information in the midi file which indicates any kind of section. Also, there would be no musical accompaniment to the tracks. Pygame does not have any speed settings for playback. -Alex Well, couldn't one simply open up...
