You're mostly right, but with other fretting programs - EOF, for example - it is possible to mark notes as HO/PO. I don't know how this is done in FLStudio though, I just wanted to let you know it's possible.

You can use most FoFix songs also for Phase Shift. Just place your FoFix songs library into the 'music' map of Phase Shift.

Also, I'm sorry for my inactivity lately. My computer crashed, and I'm on my sister's laptop now. I hope my computer will be fixed soon, but I'm afraid it will take a while.

No, I don't really know. But if you have a good computer, you can also play Phase Shift instead of Fofix or Frets on Fire. When you're on the forum, go to the tune posting section.
At the top, you should see a white bar that's used for searching. Type the song name and click search.
