Re: I might leave the FoF/PS Community.
That really, really sucks to hear, man. You're one of my favorite people here, and probably my best FoF friend, Froogs. I understand what you're going through, and I know better than anyone how frustrating any part of the charting process can be, and I wish you'd just be taking time off instead of l...

Re: Weekly online PS game (Sunday Dec 6, 4:30pm UTC)
I think that's a good idea to pick songs from the past weeks. For future weeks, I think it'd be cool to do some stuff by Inimitable, in particular, Symphony X - The Grand Design, or Shadow Cast - Purgatorio. Both are available at that page, and I'd only recommend either one or the other, because the...

He removed the songs about a week or two ago; he left for good and made it public on the DWSK (Phase Shift) chatroom yesterday.

Something people here might not be aware of
Hey, I didn't really have a good title for the topic, so that'll hopefully be the worst thing about this thread. I felt that it'd be appropriate to bring to the attention of the community at large the loss of one of our charters. I didn't really have a better to way to word that, but no, he's not de...

Re: Solo Compilation charting question
1. I think that usually putting a solo marker covering the entire brunt of the solos works pretty well, and the bonus points at the end that you get is usually pretty satisfying. 2. I think that it doesn't really matter, but if you can completely avoid sliders and whatnot, then that's good, to maxim...

Nope, I can't port forward with the setup I have, unfortunately.

I'm actually waking up and going to sleep at normal times now, so it might be hard to make it to these.

Re: Maurits' charting turorial: Part 1 about tempo mapping i
I meant play-ability-wise, you can still play the song just fine in PS and FoFiX, but converting to RB3 and back yields a ton of errors.

Re: Maurits' charting turorial: Part 1 about tempo mapping i
The beginning measures get converted to 4/4 automatically, I believe, and if the time signatures don't return correctly, for example, a 4/4 measure only having 3 beats, and the beat that WOULD have the 4th beat has its own time signature change. If you convert to Rock Band and vice-versa with broken...

Didn't see the link, or that it was finalized. In that case, those'll be my picks for next week then, out of my own songs.

Re: Weekly online PS game (SUNDAY, Oct 18, 1:30pm UTC)
I just came out with my release today, so if you want to swap out one of mine you picked with... Hmm... I'd recommend Seven Doors Hotel or The After Dinner Payback, then that'd be good, unless you'd prefer to keep the list as-is, and have the song/songs for next week.

Re: i hate charting.
Everyone else pretty much stated my thoughts on it. I think that the second that charting goes from something that you're passionate about, to a something that's an absolute chore to do, that sucks the life out of you, and it's now a boring and frustrating task to do, and has no obvious reward. Hone...
