Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Veil of Maya, Betraying the Martyrs, VILDHJARTA, Structures, Volumes on 14th May. Lol right after my GCSE exams. Gonna be a helluva show even though IMO Eclipse s.ucks balls. I really hope they will play the big hits instead of giving a full run of the new album. OMG Vildhjarta OMG! If they played t...

Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Between the Buried and Me was very good despite the lack of Fossil Genera, Animals as Leaders was better live than on the album, Medeia was decent considering their music sucks. Omnium Gatherum two weeks ago was once again absolutely brilliant despite having only a small handful of crowd. I was too...

Re: Dream Theater - A Dramatic Turn Of Events discussion

Listened it through a couple of times and found myself asking "Haven't I heard this before?" and "Why am I listening to this when Images & Words is far better?" Apparently those questions made a lot more sense than I first thought. Wall of text explaining how ADTOE is like I...

Dream Theater - A Dramatic Turn Of Events discussion

I started this thread to discuss the new album, I want to listen to other opinions. I myself find it a bit boring. I've been with DT for a LOOOONG time and I'm a big fan, they are my all-time favourite band, to set things right. I've listened to the new album like 2 times. Don't get me wrong it's go...

Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Just got a ticket to Between the Buried and Me + Animals as Leaders 28.9. I wasn't going to go because I was expecting it to be sold out, over 40€ and in the same crappy venue where DTP played. But since it was only 18€ and in a seemingly good venue I figured I might as well give it a go. Might als...

Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Aww, I wanna go. Take me with you please. European tour. It will take place on a festival, so I'm a bit critical. Firstly, their won't be enough place for their gear, it will be I guess at max 1 hour long and the amplification will be horrible if I'm not lucky... But, to embarass all...

Ye I've read it twice.
Now I found that I should've downloaded the ButtonData from there. I hadn't found in the directory anywhere, just then found that it is on the site in itself.
Thx!

Could someone tell me where to find the keyboard mapping for Phase Shift? I can't find it anywhere so I can't set the buttons.

Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Finally got my power of metal 2011 ticket. Nevermore, Symphony X, Mercenary, Psychotic Waltz & Thaurorod. Booyah! nevermore's playlist; Not amazing, but pretty good. And besides. if they'd played 50 minutes of christmas songs and This Godless Endeavor I'd be satisfied. I just love that song. Th...

Re: Concerts You Have Been To, or Going To.

Been to the Australian Pink Floyd Show the day before yesterday. It was amazing! The most clean sounding concert I've ever been to, it was just perfect! (and it was quadrofon) :tongue2: The lights were great, laser show and kind of stuff, pretty impressing. Most of the best songs of Pink Floyd by gr...

Some more weird stuff: Ron Jarzombek's stuff: Spastic Ink Blotted Science Solo album The Algorithm The band is consisted of one member, he creates music on computer. 2 albums has been released so far. It can be described as electronic/experimental metal. Mix of effects, keyboard patterns, death meta...

http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/9581/waltz19pq.jpg okay, that's just a joke... I could write much more weird stuff if I would like to... Could we just stay at metal and guitar playing? -- Edit: Sat Dec 25, 2010 10:54 am -- This is why Gavin Harrison is the best drummer alive... To be quite hones...

Re: Which do you think the most technical song is?

http://triton.imageshack.us/Himg211/scaled.php?server=211&filename=imagerg.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=480 I know a lot of you don't care much for classical music, but I think that the Kodàly cello sonata is very technically demanding. The short excerpt above might not look very difficult, but ...
