I believe GHWT bass guitar has six notes adding an open note that is displayed like the kick drum note in RB. And it's drums have 5 pads and a kick pedal.

You can use the rock band drums with DTXMania, but it's rather annoying. For each song you have to choose four of the buttons and map them to your drum set, then map all the other buttons to Auto so the computer will play them.

For Windows, try deleting the "fretsonfire" folder from "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data" that usually works for me when I switch between versions or need use different resolutions.
