there's a strong possibility that i could be wrong, but i don't think the linux version uses the library.zip. any changes i make to it don't affect the game in the slightest...

then again, i could be wrong. ;)

after ALOT of trouble, i finally got rf-mod 4.12 running on my ubuntu linux machine. the only trouble now is that the only song i can get it to play is "this week i've been mostly playing guitar." it hangs on "tuning guitar" for any other song (the other songs work fine on my non rf-mod 4.12 install...

the log for the linux version (at least on ubuntu) is located in your home folder. it's a hidden file called ".fretsonfire"

to get to it, open up nautilus (the default file browser) go to /home/<username> and hit ctrl>>h.

i already have raph's wicked sweet mod enabled. my install looks EXACTLY like that picture up there (except my frets are just the solid color)

i've searched everywhere . how do you make the GH keys two colors? like this... http://www.phonotheque.ca/fof/ghmod8.png see how the tops of the keys are black? on my install, they are just a solid color. i'm not a fan of that. :p any ideas? p.s. i'm using the linux version
