Version is already sent and stored, but it's almost always "1.2.451-RF". Nice idea, I hope it will be done. I had the same problem with our internal contests @ fofitalia, so I asked alarian some time ago if he could change the version of his mod. He agreed, but I haven't checked yet if it's really ...

well, thanks again, but this was the first site I checked :)
This is amanithVG, it's a different project, and moreover is commercial software (you have to pay for it).

thanks, but all the links refer to freebsd libraries, while I was searching for the win32 binaries...
meh, I'll try to compile the windows version from linux sources, let's see if it's really portable as the author says :)

Anyway, if anyone has a link to the win32 version, please post it.

I must say I'm really annoyed by this mod. When uploading high scores, it identifies itself as "1.2.451-RF-mod-4.15" (for you lovers of system internals, it's the "version=" field in the upload url). I'm working on a "contest server" (http://sourceforge.net/projects/fofcs, new version coming soon) a...

don't know exactly what do you mean with "tournament"... we at fofitalia sometimes organize a contest using a small contest server I wrote based on the sneftrup's world charts (code here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=210262, example of the last contest here: http://www.fofco...

I have a small request for the next fof version: case insensitive file names! I sometimes find files such as Song.ogg, Guitar.ogg etc. which probably work fine under windows, but don't work with linux, since it uses a case-sensitive filesystem.

Thanks :D

I mean my second (and third) post in that thread, where I disagree with you about the hash being used as a primary song identification key :)

I would like to see some anti-cheat security fixes, as already said in https://www.fretsonfire.org/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=16595

(still waiting for alex's answer to my second post ;))

One question - is there a possibility for WC to support multi-score uploading? There was some scripts, but they don't work. last time I tried my scripts (*) (when the charts switched to the new server) everything worked fine, except for very few songs (still have ho check what's wrong there, but do...

I can confirm it works flawlessly on my ubuntu 7.10. Thanks Alex! (mmmh... everyone seems to use ubuntu here :). Woul be nice if someone with different distributions can test the new version too) EDIT: since I wasn't able to launch the program just by double-clicking it under Gnome, I changed a bit ...

another proof world charts doesn't use the midi SHA1 hash as a primary song identifier... I have the song "jordan" in a folder called "jordan". I simply renamed the folder in "Buckethead - Jordan" and now my scores show up in two different pages: http://www.prison.net/worldch....0Jordan http://www.p...
