Re: Use a real guitar! MIDI + MIDIYoke+MIDIOX+GlovePIE

I wouldn't like to play TTFAF or any long/difficult solos though since my fingers would bleed hehe Haha, I've playing guitar long enough that it's easier for me to push frets than mash plastic :) I can't imagine this sounding very good, but kudos on the effort, all the same. Well, it doesn't sound ...

Re: Using a MIDI guitar - no strum mode?

Maybe you can advise me how to set up then? Right now I have GlovePIE set up to send pick attacks on the 5th string, but not on the 4th or 6th... I play the single-note lines all on the 5th string, and can fly through doing way better than I do with an actual controller... But when I get to multinot...

Re: Using a MIDI guitar - no strum mode?

Really? Out of the hundreds and thousands of crazy mods for this game, there's no "no strumming" option?

Using a MIDI guitar - no strum mode?

Hello all, I'm attempting to use a Godin LGXT midi guitar with an Axon-50 converter to play Frets on Fire. I'm using GlovePie to translate the MIDI into keypresses... I have it also sending a pick for each note, but that's seeming inaccurate. Is there a way to make FoF not need strums, and treat eve...

How do I use my edrums

Using the latest official build of Fofix and Rock Band 2 theme... On a nice Mac Pro.. I have a good edrum set, but right now I have to use MidiStroke to convert to keypresses... I've heard rumor of direct MIDI input in FoFix (which is why I downloaded it)... but I sure can't figure out how! Any help...

Re: Drums in FoF

Okay, I got FoFix loaded and the theme installed... but how do I choose the song library? I push enter, and that goes to the folder, but what button do I push to choose?

Drums in FoF

What do I need to play drums in FoF? I want to get the rock band songs and have it look as close to RB as possible...

So I need FoF, FoFix, and rock band 2 theme?

If I download the rock band packs from the tune posting section, will that have the drums mapped too, or just the guitars?

There was a few posts at scorehero's rockband forum where it looked like somebody figured out how to rip the audio... but the threads got closed. Does anybody know if there's anywhere one can go to get the seperate multitrack files, or how to rip them yourself? I want to play w/ them in Pro Tools......

Ooh, nice update ducky! It fixes all the 2 player issues I have... until someone makes a mod to make the jiggly stick work, I think the in-game experience is about as perfect as it can get.

One thing though, is it possible to disable the song queue? It messes up my cheap graphics gard.

I just went back to 1.0 so that the 2 player works better... may not be as pretty as the newest version, but it still works fine and is plenty fun to play.

I'm gonna go play Cliffs of Dover now...

This. Was this problem in 1.3, or is it just in the newest patch?
