The idea basiclly is to learn how to play guitar. One would need to start out with really simple tunes. In my oppinion it's boring as **** to learn how to play guitar, but I've spent weeks and weeks on guitar hero. Might as well invest that energy in learning how to play a real guitar. That's all. A...

So it's actually two tones very-very close to each other in time?
Or are they indeed mixed up a lil' bit and can be seen as one sound (even if it's a bit longer).

That's nothing.

Should be a no-brainer to do this then. I'm guessing somebody already have some software to tune their guitars. Hopefully there are open source versions of that too, so I don't have to write to much code.

One would of course let it be quite fuzzy in it's deciding of tones. Thinking artificial neural networks.


If I hit two strings at the same time it makes a completly different sound, no?

How many combinations in total of sounds are we talking about?

Hey, From a techincal perspective, shouldn't it be possible to let the user have a real guitar and let him play for real and only use audio input to figure out what he is doing? Would it require quite a good mic? Electric guitar? Is a tone always inside an given range? Can somebody who actually know...
