I can't really help you with your first question, as I hate that modified driver, it made my life hell with the tilt mechanism. Mine appears on the left box thought, not the right one. Everything else is set up exactly the same. I just use Xpadder now, and use the tilt mechanism in the game (in the ...

Use the search button. Very true. Anyway, I had many problems with the PS2 controllers, until I switched to my XBox 360 Controller. I use a program called XPadder which emulates your guitar as the keyboard (so for example, I set the green note to F1 on my keyboard, and assign XPadder to press F1 wh...

It did the "Unknown Device" thing on my computer, and then shortly went into installing the device, which I was guessing that had happened to the OP, and he just didn't realise it. After that happened to me, I just mapped the keys and it worked. Also, he never came back and complained that it didn't...

Since he never replied anyway, I'm sure his problem just dissolved. Or maybe he blew up. Either way, it's most likely that he had the bugged version, and yes I should have told him to remove that stuff, but I take it for granted that when most people uninstall stuff, they go to their Program Files a...

Is the latest version V1.2.512 ? If so , then it has been known to be really buggy. Try an earlier version , or the Alarian Mod

First of all , you shouldn't be double thread posting. Secondly, you haven't told us a thing about your computer. The only thing I can suggest is removing the songs, and then re-downloading and extracting them back into your songs folder. Try using a mirror this time rather than the main download li...

Okay dude, why would you want other windows open when you are playing a game? I always close all other windows before playing FoF, I mean if I am playing that , then there is no need to have the internet open, or anything else for that matter. The reason that it's going blank is because everytime yo...

Okay, what guitar are you using? I am using the XBox Gibson Explorer, and there was no need for me to get Xpadder, as soon as it was plugged in it downloaded the drivers for it, and all I had to do was map the keys. Try uninstalling Xpadder and see if you can do what I did. Maybe you are just missin...

Try and use the Alarian Mod. If it works with that, then you know it's the version of FoF you are using, or possibly a mod that you have installed. If it doesn't work, then you know it's a problem with your PC. Looking at your spec, I highly doubt it's your PC.

Surely there must be a system that can map the keys for a Ubuntu distribution. Have you tried Googling it? Or maybe searching on these forums? Just sounds like you have a sync problem between the Wii guitar and your OS. EDIT : Just realised you have the old graphics card as well, maybe its something...
