My laptop is this giant hunk of metal from 1999 with no ethernet port on it, and it has to stay in the living room because my mom does her work on it.

AWESOME notes, I LOVE the GH3 ones. You should work on the star notes, though, for some reason MegaLight ones throw me off track (no offense to blazingamer, you are a better modeler than I will ever be =P).

Torrenting is DEFINITELY your best bet. With uTorrent (and probably other clients) you can pick the folders you want, so if you organize it well, people can torrent only the songs they want, or the entire thing. Just pick a good torrent site, because most people on a lot of torrent sites are just id...

wish I had a GH controller. what's your key config? I forgot to mention my: 1-5 frets, backspace for strumming (] atl. strumming), delete for whammy and enter for sp. My keyboard key config is numbers 1-5 for frets, Shift and Enter for strumming, and I didn't use whammy or SP when I had a keyboard ...

Don't worry, it's not tough at all once you figure it out. Setting up a static IP is probably what you will have the most trouble with. =P
