Re: Fofix randomly decides to make you miss notes.

You didn't address my point at all. The site announcement above is misleading about the current state of development. Yes any development is good but in my opinion the work that has been done doesn't warrant an announcement of any kind. In regards to respecting programmers, the rhythm project I code...

Re: Fofix randomly decides to make you miss notes.

There have been no changes to FoFiX's code repository in about 8 months. The site announcement about FoFiX development stirring up again is misleading, they probably just forgot to take it down. Get back to me when you read what's in the parentheses. Having minor code changes followed by huge voids...

Re: - Phase Shift -

Why are you using Xpadder? The game should auto detect all XBOX controllers.

Just use the MIDI Link open in the drop down profile menu to link you profile to a MIDI device.

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread

Git doesn't show any code commits since mid March. Is there someplace else they're updating FoFiX's source code? For an open-source project it always seemed quite odd to me that so much of the discussion happens behind closed doors. The developers seem to keep to themselves and rarely post their pr...

Re: FoFix Star Power generation

Why would it matter how FOF handled this? If you're making your own game then think for yourself. What would be a good system to use? Idealy you'd want to reference it to the scoring system to allow people to 5 Star a song. Count the potential score for an FC and see how much SP you'd need to get it...

Or you could just talk about it here, where it's currently being discussed.

Re: - Phase Shift -

I downloaded PS today. When I'm about to start a song "press green", and when I press it, the game crashes!? It just says that it has stopped working... I have 3D background/video off, and low graphics. And no matter what theme or song I choose. What am I missing here? If you make...

Re: Rock Band Pro MIDI & Tech Info Discussion

Got a question regarding the Slider Markers. When you say if the slide note marker are you refering to the velocity on the slider mark itself or the notes that it may effect? If you are refering to the slide marker then I've found some issues using this system. Space Oddity: Time Direction Slider Ch...

Re: Rock Band Pro MIDI & Tech Info Discussion

Excellent! This is so obvious now and I can't bellieve I didn't spot that after hours of looking at it.

I'll change PS to match for the next release.
Thanks

Re: - Phase Shift -

All GH rips have been butchered to allow them to play on FOF. As such you have to manually change them back to how they should be. EOF should help you do this.

Re: Rock Band Pro MIDI & Tech Info Discussion

This all seems logical, the strum markers I've known about for a while and are listed in the first post. However, the channel numbers are shifted by 1 as PS starts with CH1 instead of CH0.
