Thanks, that was it.

Its a little slow reacting though, and if I hit a note that is supposed to be held and let go of the button it still plays. Oh well, thanks again.

I've noticed that when I play frets on fire that when I miss a note, that note is still played in the song, even on the imported guitar hero songs with two definite tracks. Is this the way the game was designed or is there a setting that I am missing that will make it play more like guitar hero and ...

I would and COULD still use an XBOX controller, and as I stated before I was going to use a wired regular xbox 360 controller so I could play guitar hero, but there is no strum on the regular controller. I wanted to keep this relatively cheap, and since it is almost impossible to find a used guitar ...

I'll check it again for sturdiness. The springs are gone from the back, but the strings aren't really tight, they're not even snug really, just there for looks and tight enough to hold on. And yes, the toggle switch goes up and down (which is necessary for some of the faster notes) As for the fret b...

I could have, but I couldn't find one used anywhere, and I didn't feel like investing in one to tear apart. I did have full intentions of using an XBOX 360 regular controller so that the guitar could be used on my PC or an XBOX, but then I found out that GHII doesn't let you STRUM with a regular con...

All in all it works great. My scores improved the instant I used it. It is comfortable, and much easier to play than my previous toy guitar or the keyboard. In fact, because of where I placed the buttons, I find this even easier to play than the X-Box 360 guitar. (see dork with a guitar) http://img2...

yea, that's it. But I wasn't suggesting here that it might be used for a FoF Guitar, but just letting everybody know that it was on sale there dirty cheap, in case anyone wanted to pick one up.

If any of you are interested, I just bought one of these brand new for $68. That's dirty cheap, even for a base model bottom of the line guitar, much less one with the USB connection built in. Here is the link... http://www.compusa.com/product...._Guitar I don't know if it was a typo or what, but NO...

I was just looking to pick up one of these http://www.scavino.it/behringer_iaxe393.htm (any opinions?) and I was wondering, using one of these, or a usb converter to run your guitar's signal into your computer, couldn't some software be written that would turn certain tones into keystrokes? Then cou...

If you're referring to mine, I used a medium sized toggle switch that I picked up at a local electronics exchange store for $1.50. It works great.

What exactly does the gravis gamepad look like (or a model number) I only ask because I have made 2 custom guitars (pics later) one out of a toy and my second one out of a real guitar. On my first, I used an old wingman rumblepad that I had lying around, and it was fairly straight forward. I wanted ...
