I like the icons too; that will make theme-hunting so much more sensible.

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
You named the theme wrong its actually called Rock Band Beta theme  ... Isn't it the beta-style theme for Rock Band 1, though? We didn't call it Rock Band 1 before Rock Band 2 came out, but now we do since there isn't just a single game with that title now. Well, feel free to name...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
I was thinking that, actually. Maybe I will. Anyway, here's my script. I figured a copy-paste was easier than uploading to mediafire: ..... It's quite... verbose. And probably in need of a loop somewhere. There's twelve themes in there with SVN. Not 100% that's all of them, but it should be most (a...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
Yeah, that's a good point. I didn't intend for it to be distributed with the releases, only for the developers and alpha testers to easily stay updated and discover theme issues quicker. Perhaps it would be best kept out of the official FoFiX scripts, I'm OK with removing it. I'd like to see your sc...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
Thank you for the response, but how do I change the theme outside of the program? You need to open up your fofix.ini, find the "themename" setting and either delete it or change it to the name of a folder you know works (for example "MegaLight") Yep, or you can just go delete th...

Thank you so much for your efforts!
No problem - this is the place to start since I like to play FoFiX with this theme, and I have been away from this scene for a while...
More to come :)

Wierd, that file has disappeared from my Mediafire list. I'll check out revision 1 from SVN and package that / reshare it. (Revision 1 is exactly the same as 3.100RC1(try2).)

Re: FoFiX Theme list
The RbMFH theme available in SVN (SVN URL = http://svn.xp-dev.com/svn/myfingershurt-fofix-rb1-theme/ ) is now compatible with FoFiX v4.000 development. More or less, anyway. Update 2/7/2010: Revision 18 (first update in a while) is now basically compatible with FoFiX v4.000 development / alpha. No f...

Re: FoFiX Theme - Rock Band 1 (RbMFH) - v3.100RC1 (try2)
Update 2/7/2010: Revision 18 (first update in a while) is now basically compatible with FoFiX v4.000 development / alpha. No fancy setlist or lobby for now, but at least everything works as well as the latest MegaLight V4 theme now. There will be no download package for this, SVN access only (for us...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
lmao... I have a doppelganger!
I have been messing around with the code here while on vacation but haven't made any advances with the jumpy fretboard. Still no idea why that is happening. Anyway, back to reality after this weekend :(
(booo, reality.... worst game ever!)

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
I will be going to my hometown for a week on vacation this friday, and I plan to bring my laptop with me so I can take a look at the source again to see what I can figure out for this issue.
I look forward to playing and developing again, it will be a welcome break from my usual routine. :)

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
I get endless complaints and WTFs from friends when they try to play the newer versions because of the jumps, so we always end up back at 3.100 final. It reminds me a lot of the problem with the current EU PC release of GHWT. Everything else is fine, but the fretboard and notes jump like crazy. And ...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Is anyone else getting tons of small jumps in-game with RC1 like me? I just played the full release of 3.100 and it was super smooth, when I play RC1 I can barely get 3 stars on songs because it's jumping so much. I have all the same settings I'm using on 3.100 and I've tried having the psyco both ...

Re: Lag Issue
Try a download of graphics drivers from your video card manufacturer's site, instead of Dell's. You'll get newer drivers. Just throwing it out there as a possibility. :) edit: video CHIPSET manufacturer's site. I mean, go to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx and download drivers...
