I'm having the same problem again with the latest version (1.2) on my brand new (few days old) White Macbook, 2ghz core 2 duo. Version 1.1 seems to work, though is a little unstable in the menu's and consistently crashes when using the apply settings thing in the menu's. It is playable though. In 1....
