Were you using just standard RF-mod-3.5 or were you also using C-mod (or any of the other 1.1.X mods that incorporate C-mod) The margins and timings between RF-mod-3.5 and RF-mod-4 are the . The timings between RF-mod and C-mob are not. C-mod uses mostly a fixed hit margin which is much larger than...

you'll get used to it... its not RF mod, its the FoF version. Before getting used to it, I'd like to understand the logic : why I succeed with some ho/pos but not with some others. For example, I have absolutely no problem with about all the ho/pos in the bass part of sweet child, but have alot of ...

I guess it may have been answered already (but 27 pages is alot to read), but is it me or are ho/pos in RF-Mod 4.11 MUCH HARDER than with 3.5 ? I'm just missing half of the ho/pos, even some very simple ones (that I would of course succeed in doing with 3.5). As if it required some bionic precision....

I have not had the volume not lowering. but if you can tell me under what circumstances it occurs I can look for it. I'm pretty sure this is a FoF bug. I've seen it happen with 1.1.324 with RF-Mod and probably without RF-Mod (but can't remember). It does happen sometimes that if you miss a note, th...

Thanks for the hint. The chart indeed helped alot. So where would plug the GH Mod ? For Mac version, I can't help apart from testing, and pointing to the fact Syberdave did a working mac port of rf mod 3.5 so maybe he has some informations, or maybe once RF-Mod is ported the rest is easy ? I have no...

There's been so many new cool mods since last time I checked... RF-Mod used to be the only one to add new stuff so things were easy, but now... I'm completely lost. How many / which mods actually add real changes to FoF (not only a FoF skin) and how compatible are they with each other, and in partic...

Nah on the Macbook it worked fine. It's on another computer (Sempron/WinXP/old labtec keyboard) I'm having problems. It works fine too on an old computer with a P3 533mhz, Win2K and a Logitech Keyboard bought recently (the game is laggy but I have no problems fretting correctly). But on that Sempron...

I'm always using 1.1.324 (because of RF-Mod). I understand what you mean jake, but I partly disagree : In slow parts, or when there's chords, I do hold down first and strum afterward. But in quick parts, you mostly can't do that : the beginning of Sweet Child o' Mine seems impossible to do this way,...

Hello, I have a problem on ONE machine with Frets on Fire. Namely : when I press, say, F1+Enter at the same time, it will hardly ever work, most of the time the game considers it a miss. However, if I keep F1 pressed first THEN hit enter at the good moment, THEN it will work... But in a fast part, i...
