Re: Slide/Purple Notes
tapping / sliding notes is already possible in FoFiX. If you have a GHWT guitar controller, do this: set the controller to analog slide guitar and for "analog slider" map the orange slide touch pad, and it's done  for the notes, i don't actually care, but the feature is good that...

one word: no **** way
FoF isn't about DJ n' stuff, hence the name: Frets on Fire
if you want DJ hero, create a game named turntable on fire or whatever

Re: Tapping notes
Are u now speaking of the newest FoFiX??? But it would be cooler and more simple, that "tapping notes" would be an on/off option in FoFiX. And would ONLY activate in solo sections. yes i am, and this thing with the controller can't be more simple, it pushes the fret and auto-strums (excep...

Re: GH solo notes?
tapping in fofix is actually possible, but only with a GHWT guitar with the slider, edit the controller and put it on analog slide guitar and map the orange slide key to analog slide, and you can tap any note in the song (but you can't play chords)

Re: Guitar for FoF
your best bet i GH:WT PC guitar (at least, for me). it works 100% with FoF, but unfortunately, you can't map the slider buttons (you can't map 'em on any cotroller) :cursing: I have the same guitar. In FoFiX 3.120 final: New controller -> set Controller Type to Analog Slide Guitar -> set Analog Sli...

Re: Non-hexadecimal digit found? WTF!?
o.O Just wondering how changing the ini would affect the problem, it's just a settings file and no matter what you do with the midi's it shoudlnt affect the performance like this if it was working already. I would advise deleting the .fofix-cache though. Then try their .ini method, But I dont see h...

Honestly I Think The Sound Shouldn't Be That Hard To Do,Guitar Hero And Rock Band Can Do It.
So Why Not FOF?
Because the sound engine in Pygame cannot modulate the pitch of a track
