Re: Pax' Theme Mix (My first theme ^^)
I don't get it. Alot of those things looked great in other themes, but I don't quite understand the combination of them together.
Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Re: Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
Of course it worked exactly as you described. Thank you guys very much for helping me get everything set up the way I requested. I really appreciate the help everyone gives in this forum. It only took me about seven years to get my arcade machine perfected, so I don't expect Frets to be there for so...

Re: 3.120 problem?
That's what I wanted to know. I also recently rearranged all of my songs into new folders and then it happened. Now I know the reason so that helps a bunch. It seems that I change my mind on how I want things organized every other week. There is too much good stuff out there and I want to play it al...

Re: Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
I thought that was what I did. I figured it should work that way. But when I went to choose the new necks it still was looking in my ...data\necks folder. I did not know how to get it to look in the new folder. I will mess with it tonight. Maybe I just missed something simple. Thanks.

Re: Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
Thank you guys for all the help. I set mine up the way air15 described and that is exactly what I wanted. I do have one more question though. Since each icon now runs a different theme and setlist, is there a way to specify the necks that that theme uses? I know there is a default neck folder, but h...

Re: 3.120 problem?
Does anyone understand exactly why this happens? Sometimes I will be playing for hours and all of a sudden I will get the "connection lost" error. After that I cannot play until I delete the cache file in that specific folder as you described. It is just kind of annoying, since some of the...

Re: Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
I did have a different icon for each game setup. That was another reason I liked it.
I really appreciate the help. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my post.
Maybe it will also benefit someone else who has been wanted the same setup.

Re: Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
So I assume that you prefer this setup also? Maybe I am not the only one that would like it this way then. I went as far as setting up a whole new FOFix folder (each separate installs on my C drive) and this seemed to cause the problems (my ignorance). I will definately try what you have posted as I...

Separate Icons for Each Theme (Game)
I searched around for this topic but had no luck finding it. Please excuse my ignorance if I missed it. I had an idea that I would set up a separate icon on my desktop for each Guitar and Rock Band game that I wanted to play (meaning a new FOFix folder for each game). This would let me do a few thin...

Re: Changing controls
I had the same problems when I first started playing, so I wouldn't call it a dumb question. Setting up a new controller labeled something like Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 seems to make the most sense to me. I am curious however, why are there default controllers set up in each of the 4 slots? They have n...
Re: Jurgen?
Deleted files can be dangerous...agreed. I should have mentioned that I backed up the files first, with the intention of putting them back if the game happened to crash at the end of a song. I have been playing for quite some time now without any problems, so I can safely assume that these files are...

Re: Question I HAVE to POST...
I have noticed the exact same issue, but I guess it has not bothered me too much. I do really like the idea of some sort of arcade mode. When I am playing by myself, I really appreciate the current setup. I however, also play with a group of friends (3-5) most of the time and we do not like exiting ...
Re: Jurgen?
I just did a search in the default FOFix folder for jurgen.* and deleted the sound files (.ogg I think). If I remember correctly there were 3 or 4 files.
I really got tired of "playing like a little girl". Problem solved.
