I was wondering if it is possible to play songs from a CD or DVD instead of from my hard drive -- I don't have as large of a hard drive as I'd wish, so this would save some space, my only concern is that you can't write to the song.ini if it's on the CD. Will it play anyway? Will there be errors? I'...

Mine is Mischlings. I'm possibly the most horribly inconsistent player I know. I've had games where I got 20 kills and 6 deaths, while just now I finished a game with 19 kills and 33 deaths.

I guess I just need time to get better. I'd never played an online FPS before Combat Arms.

Well, they misspelled Dream Theater, and I was hoping for something harder to play than Pull Me Under, something with a challenging solo (Under a Glass Moon, Fatal Tragedy), or a masterpiece like Metropolis.

Other than that, I don't really care that much.

Here's an idea I just had along these lines: For Alarian mod (the one I use), each player has 8 buttons: 5 frets, strum, star power, and killswitch (I still have no idea what that does). Each frame (maybe every other frame or something if that is too intense), the game keeps track of what is pressed...

I'm best at I Think I'm Paranoid from Rock Band. I FC'd it on medium, got 99% on hard learning to get use all 5 frets (took me 3 tries for that, I think). Then I tried a different strategy with all 5 frets, and FC'd it second time I tried on Expert.

I do strict HO/POs with tight hit windows. Makes it more difficult, and a breeze when I finally turn the settings back to normal.
