i DISAGREE! the most annoying thing that can happen with rhythm games, is to not be able to see whats going on. this might be fine for easy mode, but anyone else isnt going to like you much. +1 to the above. I like the aesthetic described, but for gameplay I think it would be better to use the atta...

Re: Songs and Stages
I think support for full video is still in development, planned for FoFiX 4.0.
For now, the only way to get an animated background is to put a sequence of PNG files in the song folder. I'm not sure what you're supposed to name them; probably stage1.png, stage2.png, etc.

stage.png, not stage23.png.
You also need to make sure that Options > Display Settings > Stages Options > Song Stage: is set to <On>

Necessary: 4 things you can hit with sticks (red, yellow, blue, green), 1 pedal (orange)
Maximum without redundancy: 1 'snare' pad (red), 3 'tom' pads (yellow, blue, green), 1 'hi-hat' pad (yellow), 2 'cymbal' pads (blue, green), 1 'bass' pedal (orange), 1 'overdrive' and/or 'pause' pedal (any color

Re: Which Song Would Be Better in The RBN?
Percussion and singing sound the same on both songs. Bass is too quiet to recognize without equalizer. Guitar is more interesting in Keeping Pace With Planes.

Note placement and synchronization go hand-in-hand. You can't find a good beat map without first understanding the song's rhythm.
Nevertheless, I am always willing to contribute to a chart on the condition that I like the song.
