I also experienced choppy gameplay, with the lowest setting.
I now set frets on fire on a higher priority in task manager, and the game runs much better...

Your combo is much lower.
When holding a streak you get the x4 multiplier longer, and in the end its a big difference.

Iam running fofix on a machine,that can barely take it, with all the fancy stuff on like: in game text , animated stuff and anti aliasing. A big difference is that RB and GH dont use early hit windows, you can turn that on in options in FoF
