I do have a copy of the latest nvidia drivers for the card and for ubuntu but I could'nt get them to ...

Oops, I did mean to include my specs.. they're:

1.8 P4 (single core)
256 RAM
Geforce 4 MX440.

I originally had a ATI card but seem to get better performance from the Nvidia. Using ubuntu has improved performance dramatically compared to Windows.

Hi, I know the game isn't perfect with python's memory leaks so I'm just curious of how to get the best out of what I've got under Linux. I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 and version 1.2.451 with alarian 2.9. I experience random slow-downs, sometimes their is no slowdown and other times it can jerk quit...

It runs very smooth, it slows down slightly on the harder songs when their are lots of notes on screen. I'm running a hacked windows 2000 os, so changed boot screens and no login windows and a batch file to load the game from the 'run' key in the registry. As some of you might know if you try and st...

Ok, this is a little more than just a game mod. I have modded the game and built and arcade machine to play it on. The mod itself generally makes frets on fire a bit more arcadey complete with demos when nobody is playing it. I built on the latest version of RF-Mod so many thinks to Rogue_F and the ...

Been searching around for the answer and it's probabily just a matter of putting a png in a specific place. I want to change the image on the guitar case folders. I have the template from the 'completed mods' thread. Where do I put it? Thanks in advance =) P.S. I've almost finished quite a big mod f...
