they do actually, i got my rb2 wii drums a few days back, and i plugged my usb connector thing into my pc and i can use it there, just download joy2key and set up the drums there to the keys you use we know the Wii ones come with a dongle... thats not what we are talking about. the XBOX ones do not...

i can't account for the PS2/3 and wii ones, but i got the 360 rockband 2 full set and it doesn't come with dongles.

i can't really tell by the pictures and i havn't seen one in person... but it seems like it would be quite difficult to hit the red pad as a high hat with your right hand and the yellow pad a snare with you left... doesnt look like there is much room to cross your arms

I had this problem when one of my controllers was set to the keyboard... very odd.

I guess naming the neck differently could help. I Didn't actually try it with that file name... I renamed it defaultneck when I put it in my folder. And its supposed to be really dark. It might look too dark on certain monitors depending on the brightness and contrast, but I tried to get it as close...
