you can turn pixel shader off btw as well as most other features. My PC lags during FoF but works just fine on Osu! lag-less.

Yeah.... that's a definite downside but thin of it this way. If development where to move to XNA, new possibilities could open up for the windows version of FoF and a port to the 360 would be easy. but mac and linux users would be unable to acquire a-lot of the new features and python development on...

SoS makes me happy actually, it's done in C++, so if it's made correctly, it should increase the games speed and feature set.
-side note- I should proofread more often := (

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just think that FoF could be so much better but it's being held back by python. I just want others to see what could be done if it used say XNA. Also, I was trying to see how far I could extend an allegory in my first post. Sorry if I came off as a mean-head. -edit- IM...

You can edit the sounds. Personnaly I play with the eba visual theme but the Ouendan sound effects. that right there is the default theme. make your own if you want.

I'll still be here actually, I just happen to like Osu! more. I like Ouendan infinantly more than I ever did GH anyway

Also, it isn't charted to a single instrument, it follows the song as a whole. it usually follows the lyrics actually.

I'm sorry FoF but you just got the bump down on my list of favorite rhythm pc games. Your replacement? Osu! This game is to Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents what you are to Guitar Hero and Rockband except, with a lot more polish. Osu has a great online system, community, visual design and is just more ...

I like the career mode but I am building an arcade cabinet so ongoing single-player is not what I'm looking for. for the game so I would really like this mode..... maybe I should just learn python

Also what would be prefered, having the same health through the hole thing or renewing after each song?
