I tried to use dB awhile ago, but it was frustrating using the keyboard over the mouse and I would find myself bringing up the help menu way too much. So I stuck with Freetar so I could fret in Guitar strum mode, but since then EOF has improved leaps and bounds. I took my first song made with Freeta...

damn MFH you are the man. I can't even keep up with these releases. I was in the middle of downloading 2.8 when 2.801 was released, and now, I just get done giving 2.801 a run and .805 is here. Great stuff. I don't know if this is a known issue or something that may have been fixed in .805, but it h...

yea I figured out the first part about deleting the default songs folder, I remembered that from the official FoF. I set the new songs folder through the game, and would goto Mod setting (because it was the closest) and hit Apply New Settings. After that every time I go to 'Play Game' it would keep ...

man the mods and everything have exploded since I last did a clean install. last big thing going on in the forums were Rock band songs being uploaded, and the complete set of that nearing being fully done. Ok, so it'll take me some time to catch up with everything that's happened since then, but so ...

im kinda surprised with this thread. ive found FoF to be pretty lax about hitting notes perfectly. sometimes i may even be able to hit a note a few tenths of a second after it plays. not so much able to do it before a note reaches the keys, but after it does, you get some fairly friendly makeup time.

What would be nice to have FoF do after you play a song is not only add your score to the song.ini, but maybe a feature where you could also rate a song on a scale of 1-10. For the keyboarders they could type it or use the directional arrows, and then for the guitarists they could use their d-pads. ...

Great program! Really helps a ton to manage all these songs (over 1,000!). A feature I would suggest, if I may, would be to set the cases for Artist and Title. Your program already can remove scores and counts (worth the dl just for that), so it would be sweet to do the same way and go into the song...
