hmmm.... maybe I'll just use the strum keys to change the letters... not the easiest way, but at least it's a workaround that works.

I'm glad I answered my own question :/

So, I have my buttons set as: A S D F G and strum as J K But when I want to change the name for the high score, the "A" key (as the first fret button), acts as a Continue key. So, say I want to change the nam...

From the looks of it....
What you download is a dmg file. Just open that.

It should then auto-mount.

Open up the .pkg file inside, which is the installer. That should put everything where it needs to go.

So after checking out the HOPOs in the version I have (the "Frets on Fire_fixed.dmg", which has RF-Mod included)... I compared it to the ones that show up in 1.1.324 (no mods), and there's...

is there one with hammer ons/ pull offs? they dont work in this one Did you download the one named "Frets on Fire_fixed.dmg" ? That one actually does have HOPOs in it (also be sure that it is enabled). In order to tell the notes apart, I found it useful to change the setting in fretsonfire.ini to b...

I just downloaded the mac/rf-mod package after trying out the regular one a couple days ago. Great stuff. I tried looking for a way to reset the highscores (since a lot of the songs I've downloaded have scores in them), but all I could find were PC solutions. It took me awhile, but I figured out som...
